VoedselOndersteuning Gent vzw (VOG) was founded in September 2004 by the Ghent Rotary Clubs, in cooperation with vzw Kras and vzw Ateljee.

VOG vzw supports all initiatives that fight hunger and poverty in Ghent, mainly by providing financial support for the collection and distribution of food, and the alleviation of other basic needs in the Ghent region.

Food distribution point

In 2024, a new food distribution point will be set up on the social site of the Getouwstraat. The total cost of this project is €25,000.

For several years now, you can also support the VOG association with a tax-deductible donation. For this purpose, on the initiative of some philanthropist friends, the Friends of VoedselOndersteuning Gent (VOG) Fund was set up within the King Baudouin Foundation.

This Fund is managed by the King Baudouin Foundation.

By transferring an amount of minimum 40€ to bank account BE10 0000 0000 0404 of the King Baudouin Foundation with unique structured mention 019/1780/00039, for which you will then receive a tax certificate from the KBS in the course of next year, we will receive additional resources to offer the necessary help in the fight against poverty in our own city in an even more efficient and structured way with vzw VOG.
