What does ADRA Belgium do?

ADRA Belgium's main objective is to improve and enhance the lives of the most disadvantaged populations by helping beneficiaries achieve sustainable economic autonomy, so that they can take charge of their own lives. Our motto is: "Changing the world, one life at a time".

On a global scale, our development projects focus on themes such as education, sustainable agriculture, renewable energies and healthcare, and are always developed on the basis of local demand and in close collaboration with our associative partners and the country's authorities. ADRA is one of the most responsive organizations when it comes to emergency situations: thanks to a responsive network and optimal organization, we provide effective and rapid assistance to victims of natural or man-made disasters around the world.

For several years now, ADRA has also been active in Belgium, carrying out projects and actions to benefit the most disadvantaged populations. In 2022 we launched a food aid project in Belgium, The Social Food Truck, which won us the prize for the most innovative association!

Our work in Belgium is made possible by our amazing volunteers who are committed to making a difference in the face of inequality. At the end of 2022, we launched a unique food aid project, The Social Food Truck in collaboration with other grassroots associations as part of a real associative village!

Join our teams on the Esplanade de la Gare du Midi (Brussels), every Friday from 1pm to 5pm (via [email protected]).
