Empoway is an autonomous, progressive organization with the aim of encouraging and providing opportunities for social engagement and socio-cultural youth and adult work, including lifelong and broad learning. It develops high-quality, educational, socio-cultural activities, and services for a diverse audience and across various social themes, focusing on the meaning and emancipation of participants. The activities and services are geared towards the social development of the participants with the goal of achieving a more inclusive society. Additionally, the association's activities emphasize sign language(s), but they are directed at both sign language users and non-sign language users.
