Missions
Werkhuizen MIN employs people with a personal or social distance from the labour market in a sustainable way, as a basis for talent development and inclusion.
Our society changes from day to day. This creates uncertainty for many people. Life is becoming more complex and expectations more challenging. Digitalisation makes life easier, but just more difficult for some people. Successive crises create additional pressures, both social and financial. Everyone faces these.
Our target group are people who are usually already less strong in their shoes and in society. Who are not financially well off, or who are struggling socially, psychologically, mentally or intellectually. It is often a combination of several factors. As a tailor-made company, we want to help our target group employees become stronger in order to better cope with the uncertainties of today and tomorrow. The tool we use to this end is, first and foremost, full-fledged paid work tailored to the individual.
Everyone is entitled to full-fledged work, including people with a disability or a distance from the regular labour market. For us, inclusion is not a buzzword, but a verb. The work we offer must be adapted to the person with his or her capabilities. We take limitations into account but we start from the talents that everyone has in themselves. The emphasis is on that talent; we take the limitation with us - that is what we are subsidised for. We try to maximise and value those talents, based on a strong belief that inclusion should be the norm in our super-diverse world. By giving our target group employees opportunities to grow, we also give them opportunities to advance. In the first place in terms of content and internally in terms of assignments to be carried out; in the best case by allowing them to move on to the regular economic circuit.
