In East Africa, Tanzania, south of Bagamoyo city, a new port is being built along the Indian Ocean in Mbegani Bay, opposite the island of Zanzibar.

A “special economic zone” will be created around this, including (agro) industry.

The population who work there and their families will settle around it. Mapinga Health Project wants to provide healthcare in this environment, both preventive and curative, including:

• Nurses

• Physiotherapy

• Laboratory

• Ultrasound

• Pharmacy

• Drinking water station
