The Fund was created on the initiative of philanthropic friends. They call on their own network and that of the non-profit foundation Ensemble en Chemin to collect donations. The funds raised are used to support the organization's various projects.
Every human being has an inalienable value, whatever their motor, cognitive, psychological or emotional abilities. All children, whatever their situation, are entitled to equal rights and values. In particular, they must be able to benefit from meaningful training and education, adapted to their needs and capable of leading them serenely and with as much autonomy as possible, towards their adult life.
The Ensemble en Chemin Foundation's first objective is to offer a new secondary school with a conductive pedagogy adapted to young people with cerebral palsy. The Cime La Famille school and day center will accommodate 50 young people with cerebral palsy in the secondary program, as well as many others in an extracurricular context.
The Fondation Ensemble en Chemin aims to finance several types of project, covering infrastructure needs for the school and day center, as well as pedagogical aspects specific to this school and the particular needs of the young people, within a general framework of integration or, more specifically, preparation for integration into the workplace.
