The aim is to bring young investigators together and form new networks. YING organises the following projects and events:

      - YING Conference (organised every 2 years)
      - Pre-educational course
      - EACS Live! Journal Club
      Standard of Care

Standard of Care for HIV and Co-infections in Europe

The EACS Standard of Care Working Group’s goal is to collect and diffuse data on standard of care including the progress and pitfalls in different European regions as well as to provide a platform aiming to share these data among different stakeholders.

The Standard of Care for HIV and Co-infections in Europe meeting aims to convene not only healthcare professionals and clinicians from across Europe active in the fight against HIV and Co-infections but also stakeholders/partners and the community.
      Medical Exchange Programme

      Medical Exchange Programme

The European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) initiated a Medical Exchange Programme in 2001, with the aim of enhancing the clinical skills of fellows through periods of attachment to specialised HIV units.

The ambition was to ultimately foster clinical and scientific collaboration across Europe. Since then, more than 130 HIV clinicians from 50 countries have been trained. This led in several cases to publications in peer reviewed journals and oral presentations at major conferences.

EACS has continuously adapted the programme to ensure it delivers on its promise.

In 2019, the Medical Exchange Programme was restructured and will now offer a Short Clinical Exchange Programme (launching in November 2019) and a Career Development Fellowship (launching in 2020), both targeted at young individuals working in the field of HIV.
      WAVE

Women Against Viruses in Europe (WAVE)

WAVE’s mission is to promote the welfare of women living with HIV in Europe. The initiative involves healthcare professionals and community representatives. WAVE endeavours to promote equality of access to care and excellence in standards of care for women living with HIV. With the availability of new prevention strategies, WAVE is adding HIV prevention for women to its mission, aiming at building equal access and contributing to the body of evidence for using such prophylaxis for women.
