Patient Focused Medicine Development

When PFMD was first initiated 7+ years ago, patient engagement (PE) was slowly starting to become a topic of interest. Nowadays, the PE landscape is dramatically different and the PFMD members have been at the forefront of this shift, helping to shape a nascent, fragmented ideology into a cohesive, measurable, and demonstrative movement to bring patients to the very core of health systems.

From Testing to Targeted Treatments

Precision medicine (PM) has the potential to change outcomes and experiences of patients who could benefit from it, yet access to PM is uneven or, in some cases, non-existent. The From Testing to Targeted Treatments (FT3) program is a global collaborative multi-stakeholder initiative working to make precision medicine (PM) an accessible reality for patients who could benefit, in oncology and beyond.
